PHOTO OP ED: Young bucks enjoy a lunch for the birds

The thickest snow cover in many years makes deer work extra hard to find food for their vegetarian diets, so these young male whitetails were delighted to come across birdfeeders stuffed with seeds in the backyard of a Port Washington home.
