Paul ran in the WIAA state title race all four years of high school, taking ninth, 19th, 22nd and 74th.
She is the daughter of former Cedar Grove-Belgium cross country and track and field coach Les Paul and the younger sister of star runners Ali, Marina, who both attended Minnesota State, and the older sister of Chloe.
