Park holding bird hike

Master naturalist Bonnie Lunde will take visitors through the trails of Harrington Beach State Park in the Town of Belgium from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, to spot and learn about the types of birds that live in this diverse ecosystem that includes prairies, lakes, swamps, ponds and woods.

The best apps for identifying birds will be provided. People are encouraged to bring binoculars and cameras. They are asked to meet at the Puckett’s Pond shelter.

Park admission is required.
