Parade, music, fireworks on tap for July 4

Themes of red, white and blue will flood Saukville’s streets this July 4.

The Village of Saukville Fourth of July Committee has an array of festivities to help celebrate the national holiday, including music, food, a parade and more.

The parade will start at 1 p.m. on South Main Street by Rebel Road and head north to Grady Park.

Making musical appearances will be the Port Washington City Band, Shad Lads and Tanglefoot.

Tanglefoot will play at Grady Park from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. followed by a 30-minute interlude by accordionist Roger Boll. The Shad Lads will perform from 3 to 5 p.m.

Jer-Bear the clown will be at Grady Park from 1 to 4 p.m.

Festivities will migrate to Peninsula Park at 5 p.m. Just 4 Fun will be present at both parks, providing activities for children.

DJ Dan will take over the music, and there will be games and food and beverages until dusk when fireworks will be shot off.
