Ozaukee volleyball is improving
The Ozaukee High School girls’ volleyball team put up a strong showing against perennial powerhouse Oostburg last Thursday in Fredonia in the Warriors’ Big East Conference opener.

The Lady Dutch won, 25-11, 25-21, 14-25, 25-21.
“Our scores continued to get better and better. I was happy to see this team fight back after losing big in the first game. They continued to fight, which showed the competitive nature of this group,” Ozaukee coach Paul Jungbauer said
Junior Sydnie Stadler had 23 kills, 13 digs and 17 service receptions.
“Sydnie was on fire, so we continued to feed her,” Jungbauer said.
Senior Naomi Smith had 11 kills and Emma Poeschl had 26 digs and 26 serve receives.
“Emma Poeschl did a fantastic job on defense,” Jungbauer said.
