The Ozaukee Senior Games are off and running

The Ozaukee Senior Games kicked off Tuesday and will continue with activities in Grafton, Port Washington, Cedarburg and Mequon until Tuesday, June 21, when the closing ceremony and awards event are held in Grafton.

The awards breakfast will be at 8 a.m. Tuesday, June 21, at the Grafton Senior Center, 1665 Seventh Ave.

Throughout the month, the Grafton Senior Center will host bocce ball at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday, June 1 — the rain date is 1 p.m. June 15 — singles ping pong at 9 a.m. June 2, and shuffleboard at 9:30 a.m. June 7.

Seniors may also swim 50 yards at the Grafton Family Aquatic Center anytime during designated hours from June 8 to 20.

The Port Washington Senior Center, 403 Foster St., will host sheepshead at 1 p.m. June 2, mah jong at 9:30 a.m. June 10, eight ball at 2:30 p.m. June 13 and cornhole at 9:30 a.m. June 17.

Sauk Creek Park in Port Washington will host horseshoes at 9:30 a.m. June 9.

The Cedarburg Community Center Gym, W63 N641 Washington Ave., will be the site for pickleball from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 3.

There will be bowling at Cedars III Bowling Center in Cedarburg beginning at 1 p.m. June 6, and Mexican train dominoes will be played at 1 p.m. June 16 at the Cedarburg Senior Center, W63 N643 Washington Ave.

Missing Links Golf Course in Mequon will host mini-golf on June 15.

A bike ride will be held along the Ozaukee Interurban Trail starting at the Cedarburg and Port Washington senior centers at 9 a.m. June 20.

Masks are required for unvaccinated participants.
