Ozaukee County Fair student art winners honored at reception

Top award winners in the annual Ozaukee County Fair School Art Contest were the guests of honor at a Sept. 18 reception at the Wisconsin Museum of Quilts and Fiber Arts in Cedarburg, where their art was displayed following the fair. Holding their works of art were winners (front row, from left) Addison Blume, Eleanor Nelson, Maxwell Rivera, (back row) Cali Kraus, Noa Westphal, Kira Thao, Hadley Deppisch and Abigail Dimmer. Joining the students was School Art Coordinator Jamie Stoecker. Winner Maria Garni is not pictured. Rivera, Thao and Garni were also best in show award winners. Students from schools throughout the county submitted more than 800 entries, which were displayed and judged at the County Fair this summer.
