Ozaukee 4-H to offer four new projects

Ozaukee 4-H is introducing four new countywide projects this year — dance, veterinary science, adventure and photography.

The dance project offers 4-H members an opportunity to explore movement, rhythm, and creative expression while building confidence and teamwork. Youths will develop skills in technique and choreography in an environment that encourages self-expression and collaboration.

The veterinary science project will teach members about animal health, care and science-based practices. They will explore anatomy, wellness and potential career paths while gaining a deeper understanding of responsible animal stewardship.

The adventure project is designed for youths who thrive on hands-on learning and new experiences. Through outdoor activities and group challenges, members will build leadership, problem-solving skills and resilience while experiencing personal growth and learning about teamwork.

Photography will give members the chance to slow down and see the world from a new perspective. Members will learn camera basics, composition and visual storytelling while developing creativity and patience.

Any child interested in joining the projects should contact any county club’s general leader or the University of Wisconsin Extension office.
