A one-of-a-kind graduation

Ozaukee High School grads were feted under sweltering conditions Sunday on the school’s football field, a special occasion made even more memorable by the current Covid-19 circumstances. (Clockwise from top left) Salutatorian Jude Beck attended wearing a face mask; Adam Ernisse fist bumped Northern Ozaukee School Board member Tim Burmesch after receiving his diploma as NOSD Supt. David Karrels looked on; Valedictorian Savannah Norwood addressed her classmates and others in attendance; Alecia Acevedo was excited as she practiced social distancing with her graduating class; and Alyssa Randa-Thomas, with classmate Lydia Rassel following her, was all smiles as she left the field.
