Oct. 26 to be final day for branch, brush collection

The final day of branch and brush collection and chipping in the Village of Saukville will be Monday, Oct. 26.

Residents must have branches and brush curbside by 6:30 a.m. that day.

Branches may not be more than three inches in diameter and must be neatly stacked on the parkway, not on the sidewalk or street, with the cut ends facing the street.

Branches should not be placed curbside earlier than the preceding weekend. No compost will be accepted.

If crew members are at a single address more than 20 minutes, the property owner will be charged for each additional 20 minutes if the owner requests that they do so.

Wood chips are available to residents at the yard waste site at 649 S. Main St. The village will deliver wood chips if a resident wants a full truck load of three to five yards.

To arrange delivery, call 284-0545.
