Observatory to be open

The observatory at Puckett’s Pond in Harrington Beach State Park will be open from 9 to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, June 14 and 15.

A walk on the Stonehaven Trail and a history of Quarry Town will be shared from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 15.

Master Naturalist Bonnie Lund will lead a bird walk from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. Monday at Puckett’s Pond. People may bring binoculars and cameras.
