Not one but two street festivals in store for Port

When Port Washington held its first street festival in 2008 to celebrate the reopening of Franklin Street after it was reconstructed, people begged Port Main Street Inc. to bring it back the following year.

This year, people will get a bonus as Port Main Street plans two street festivals — one in spring and the other in fall.

“We’re going to bookend the event season with the street festivals,” Main Street Executive Director Kristina Tadeo said.
