New program gives residents access to crime information
The Grafton Police Department has created an online Citizen Services Program to provide residents with crime information and statistics.
The program website allows people to access the village’s crime map and police department statistics and file reports on identity theft, lost property and vandalism. Users can also access accident reports and submit traffic complaints and anonymous tips.
Police officials said the portal is not intended to report emergencies, which should be done by calling 911. For non-emergencies, the department can be reached at 375-5320.
“This portal was designed as another layer of transparency,” Grafton Police Chief Jeff Caponera stated in a press release. “We will be constantly adding features and links to help you find the information that is important to you.”
The portal can be accessed by visiting grafton.prophoenix.com/#/home. For more information, email policecomments@village.grafton.wi.us.
