NAACP seeks applicants for its scholarship

Applications are being accepted for the Freedom Fund Scholarship, established by the NAACP Ozaukee County.

The scholarship is intended to nurture the academic careers of outstanding black or African American students who live or attend school in Ozaukee County.

The NAACP awards as many as two $2,500 Freedom Fund Scholarships to incoming college freshmen.

Applicants will be evaluated based on community involvement, essay content and academic achievements.

The application form and requirements can be found at naacpozaukee.org/scholarship-application.

Applications are due June 21.
