Motorcyclist hurt after being hit by car

A 62-year-old Milwaukee woman was flown by Flight for Life helicopter to Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa after being hit riding a motorcycle on Highway 57 in Fredonia on July 7.
The accident took place at 3:26 p.m. when the biker was traveling eastbound on Highway A. She was stopped waiting to turn south onto Highway 57 when she was hit by a 2002 Honda Accord operated by a Racine resident also looking to turn southbound onto Highway 57.
The accident was witnessed by an off-duty Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Office deputy, who responded to the scene, according to Ozaukee County Police Capt. Marshall Hermann.
The motorcyclist suffered non-life threatening injuries to her leg.
