Mequon woman named Republican Party chair
Kathy Broghammer of Mequon has been appointed chairman of the Republican Party of Ozaukee County’s Executive Committee.
Broghammer will continue to serve as the party’s membership chairman.
Broghammer has been active in Republican Party of Wisconsin campaigns, serving as former Gov. Scott Walker’s Ozaukee County coordinator during his re-election campaign, has been a delegate to several state conventions and served on the credentials committee for the past two years.
She served as the state party’s 6th Congressional District secretary, is a past board member of the Wisconsin Federation of Republican Women and is affiliated with the Suburban Republican Women’s Club, Republican Women of Waukesha County, field office volunteer and Victory 2020 coalition leader.
She was nominated to be an election inspector in 2013, was elevated to assistant chief and has become a special voting deputy in Mequon.
