Memorial Day ceremonies set for Monday

Belgium will commemorate Memorial Day with its traditional schedule of events.

At 8:30 a.m. on Monday, May 29, a service will be held at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 200 Park St.

The parade steps off at 10:30 a.m. at East Lane and Main Street, and will end at Community Park.

A ceremony and talk by Daniel Toomey, United Services Organizations of Wisconsin board member, will follow in the new park shelter.

The food stand and bar will be open for business after the ceremony.
