PAID OBITUARY
Marleene Louise Thomas, 73, of Random Lake, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 24, 2019, at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice after a long battle with esophageal cancer.
Marleene was born on Sept. 14, 1945, in Iron Mountain, Mich., to August and Marjorie (Roberge) Jacobson.
She was a 1964 graduate of Port Washington High School.
On Jan. 29, 1966, Marleene married Harry W. Thomas in Lake Church.
She was an active member of the Christian Ladies group of Lake Church.
She enjoyed all animals, especially horses, gardening and canning, crocheting and quilting, playing cards, camping, traveling and taking lots of road trips and cooking for family and friends. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with those she loved most.
Marleene and her husband were inseparable and cherished their 53 years of marriage.
Marleene is survived by her husband Harry Thomas of Random Lake; three daughters, Gail (Kurt) Flom of Random Lake, Tina (Matthew) Reindl of Saukville and Kandy (Joe) Huiras of Random Lake; six grandchildren, Tyler Flom, Shawn (Lerin) Flom, Vanessa Harrier, Hunter Reindl, Shemiah Huiras and Carson Huiras; one brother, James Jacobson; five sisters, twin Marilyn (Brian) Christopherson, Donna (Alan) Schlenvogt, Susan (Bill) Mahnke, Joan (Dan) Wellenstein and Mary (Bob) Feyereisen; three sisters-in-law, Theresa Kirst, Ruth Thomas and Diann Thomas; and two brothers-in-law, David (Theresa) Thomas, and Joseph (Annette) Thomas.
Marleene was preceded in death by her father August Jacobson; mother Marjorie Jacobson; and four brothers-in-law, Paul Thomas, Eugene Kirst, Donald Thomas and Carl Thomas.
At her wishes, private family services were held.
