Marilyn Regan

Marilyn P. Regan, 88, died at her Town of Fredonia home Monday, Jan. 28.
Mrs. Regan was born in Elm Grove on Feb. 25, 1930, to Charles and Pearl Robinson Stuart. She grew up in Fort Atkinson before graduating from Milwaukee Teachers College.
On June 29, 1957, she married John Regan in Jefferson. The couple lived in Milwaukee before moving to Mequon in 1959.
After her husband died, Mrs. Regan moved to a hobby farm in Fredonia in 1984 where she raised Corriedale sheep, rabbits and chickens. Her family said she loved living on the farm and it warmed the artist’s spirit in her soul.
Mrs. Regan was a member of Divine Savior Parish in Fredonia and a former member of St. James Catholic Church in Mequon, where she participated in the Christian Women’s Circle.
Mrs. Regan is survived by her children Patricia “Patty Jo” Malchow of Amherst, Va., Tracy (Robert) Pulido of Paauilo, Hawaii, and Michael Regan and Katherine “Kitty” Regan, both of Milwaukee; grandchildren Colin and Ryan Malchow and Clayton and Sean Regan.
She is further survived by sisters Beverly Riggert of Glendale and Sandy (Roger) Cox of Johnson City, Tenn.; and brother James Stuart of Neenah.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Regan was preceded in death by her son Timothy, brother Russell Stuart, daughter-in-law Kitty Regan, brother-in-law William Riggert, and sisters-in-law Elizabeth and Elsie Stuart.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, Feb. 3, at Eernisse Funeral Home in Port Washington. Deacon Tom Surges presided.
Interment was at St. Rose Cemetery in Fredonia.
