Lorrie Shirley

Lorrie J. Shirley (nee Stoffel), age 61 years of Grafton, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 21, 2019.

She was born on July 1, 1958, to Clifford and Marlene (nee Tesker) Stoffel in West Bend.

She graduated from West Bend West High School, Class of 1976.

She married her high school sweetheart and had a son, Austin Baye.

Lorrie was in the screen printing field for 20 years and was the print manager for SPS Screen Printing. Lorrie was an entrepreneur and was the owner/operator of Lorrie’s Floral Design and Interior Decorating in Kewaskum for over seven years. While she was still operating the business, she started another business called L.S. Cleaning.

She was extremely active and lived with a fishing rod in her hand. Lorrie loved playing horseshoes and attending sports events including Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers games.

She was the one who organized the trips to the games, and you could hear her cheering over the crowd.

She enjoyed taking walks along the river with her son, Austin Baye.

Lorrie was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed creating her own clothing.  She was a designer not only in the floral and interior areas, but would express her creativity in many ways from her look, her choice of style, the vehicle she drove, her hats and sunglasses.  Lorrie had a wow factor when she walked into a room.

Lorrie is survived by her son Austin Baye (Andrina) and grandchildren Bryce and Alexa.

She is further survived by her mother Marlene Boegel; siblings Shelley Stoffel, Sherry Lentz, Brian (Caryn) Boegel and Jo (Mark) Gassner; nieces and nephews Kyle (Tiffany) Baier, Wade (Ashley) Baier, Sean (Jessica) Lentz, Shannon (Nolan) Yonkman, Isabelle Boegel, and Bennet and Bronte Gassner; best friend Greg Prellwitz; other relatives; and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her father Clifford and stepfather Lambert “Kliner” Boegel.

A prayer service for Lorrie will be held at 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 16, 2019, at Regner Park, 800 N. Main St., West Bend, with Father Patrick Wendt presiding.

A celebration of life with Lorrie's family will be held Friday, Aug. 16, at Regner Park from 1 to 7 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated.
