Loebl hired as Port State Bank VP, secrecy officer

Joe Loebl has been hired as vice president and bank secrecy officer for Port Washington State Bank.

Loebl has 17 years of experience in financial services, including 13 years as a Bank Secrecy Act and anti-money laundering compliance professional.

In prior positions, he investigated suspicious activity, conducted systems training, oversaw audit and exam preparation, assisted with technology issue remediation and helped develop financial crime professionals.

At Port State Bank, he will oversee the development, implementation and administration of all aspects of the BSA program. This position monitors compliance with state and federal laws and regulation that all banks follow to protect customers and society as a whole.

  Loebl received his bachelor of arts in economics at Denison University. He is certified by the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists and has a certificate in fraud prevention with the American Banking Association.

Port Washington State Bank has locations in Port Washington, Saukville, Cedarburg, Grafton, Mequon, Thiensville, Belgium and Fredonia.
