Live music to help celebrate Labor Day

Live music at the Village of Saukville’s upcoming Labor Day celebration will be performed by two local bands, it was announced last week.

Musical performers at the Monday, Sept. 7, event will include Midlife Oasis at 3 p.m., followed by Shad Lads at 6 p.m.

The groups will perform at the Grady Park picnic shelter until dusk, when fireworks are scheduled to begin.

The Labor Day celebration is meant to compensate for the cancellation of the village’s Memorial Day and Fourth of July celebrations and the Live at the Triangle concert series due to coronavirus health concerns.

To keep all attendees safe and healthy, the event will be subject to state and Washington Ozaukee Public Health Department requirements and recommendations related to Covid-19, including physical distancing and face coverings.

Live at the Triangle is presented by the Village of Saukville and other local sponsors.
