Lion’s Den hike to be held Sept. 15
The Community Rivers Program will lead a guided hike through Lion’s Den Gorge in Grafton from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 15.
During the hike, discussions will be held on connections between the Milwaukee River and the health of Lake Michigan,
Lion’s Den Gorge is located at 511 High Bluff Dr., Grafton. People are asked to meet by the picnic shelter on the north side of the parking lot. Children must be older than 6 and accompanied by an adult.
A Riveredge Nature Center educator will lead the hike.
The event is free but registration is required and can be done by calling the Grafton Parks and Recreation Department at (262) 375-5310 or online at https://graftonrecreation.village.grafton.wi.us.
