Linda Schommer
Port Washington resident Linda L. Schommer died Monday, Jan. 21, at her home. She was 59.
Mrs. Schommer was born in Port Washington, the daughter of Clifford and Catherine “LeeRaye” Wilmot Baumann.
She grew up in Waubeka and graduated from Ozaukee High School in 1978.
On Sept. 22, 1985, she married Alan Schommer in Waubeka. He preceded her in death in 2017.
Mrs. Schommer worked for the family business, Baumann’s Market in Waubeka, and later at Newport Shores in Port Washington.
She was a member of the National Flag Day Foundation board of directors.
She enjoyed crafting.
Mrs. Schommer is survived by son Kurt (Rachel) Schommer and granddaughter Lauralei.
She is further survived by her mother LeeRaye of Waubeka; siblings Doug Baumann of Plymouth and Mike (Lori) Baumann of Fredonia; parents-in-law James and Barbara Schommer of Grafton; and sister-in-law Janell (Rob) Romnek of Grafton.
In addition to her husband Alan, she was preceded in death by her daughter Catherine and father Cliff Baumann.
Private funeral services will be held.
Eernisse Funeral Home, Port Washington, is handling the arrangements.
