Library to host pre-teen activities during April

    A variety of activities are planned for children ages 9 to 12 at the Niederkorn Library in Port Washington in April.
    “Tween Scene: Opening Day Craftivity” will be held from 3:30 to 6 p.m. Thursday, April 1.
    Youngsters will be able to make pennants to celebrate baseball’s opening day.  
     Earth Day will be celebrated from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Thursday, April 22.
    Participants may make nature prints, plant a seed and decorate a reusable shopping tote while supplies last. Advance registration is not required.
     May Day will be celebrated from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, May 1.
    Participants may create flower rubbings, flower-inspired origami and pizza garden seed balls while supplies last.  
    Advance registration is not required for any of the activities.
    The library is at 116 W. Grand Ave.
