Library forgiving fines for food
November is a good month for people who owe fines at the Oscar Grady Library in Saukville and for the Family Sharing Food Pantry in Grafton.
The library is participating in the Food for Fines program this month, which means that it will accept non-perishable food items in exchange for as much as $5 in fine forgiveness per library card.
A list of items most needed by the food pantry can be found at the library.
The library is also preparing to welcome Santa at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 7.
The evening will include Christmas carols and the opportunity to visit with Santa.
The Oscar Grady Library is at 151 S. Main St.
