LETTERS: A fond farewell after 47 years of making Port men look good

To Ozaukee Press:

I want to thank the people of Port Washington for welcoming me into their community.

I have had the privilege of helping many families over the years, whether it was a tuxedo for a prom or a wedding or a new suit for a special occasion. I’ve enjoyed hearing stories from young people telling me I helped their dad or grandpa with their first tux.

Many of my customers have become lasting freiends. The people I’ve worked with were the best employees any employer could ask for.

It has been an honor to be part of the downtown business community, and I have great respect for their dedication and professionalism. I will miss their camaraderie and friendship.

We recently celebrated Small Business Saturday. Let’s make every day a small business day and shop locally.

Thank you for all of the memories of the past 47 years. I will truly miss you all, but I look forward to spending time with my family and friends.
