LETTERS: A few computer key strokes bring a treasure of literature

To Ozaukee Press:

Since 2004, I have been accessing the W.J. Niedorkorn Library online, initially through Easicat and now the Monarch Library System.

Online I can search for books, reserve them and will be notified by email when the books are available for pick up here in Port Washington.

At my recent visit I was given a check-out receipt stating I saved $28 that day by using my library to get this book.

I saved $902 in the past year and $2,687 since I began using the library.

So I would like to say thank you to Port Washington’s public library, not only for saving me money, but for providing so much exposure to literature at no cost other than my tax dollars.
