LETTER: YouTube video of downtown Port plan gets a rave review
To Ozaukee Press:
The Downtown Plan presented to the Port Washington Plan Commission last week is a shining example of public participation being harnessed by competent consultants and city staff.
The 30-minute summary given by Bob Harris, city planner and director of facility development, has been preserved by a YouTube video deserving of viewing by both residents and developers interested in downtown redevelopment.
The summary is delivered with a thorough understanding of the planning process and is most helpful in developing a proactive redevelopment posture.
As a 50-year resident of this fine city and an active participant in implementing portions of the downtown plan in 1962, I recommend citizens watch and listen to the YouTube video posted on the city’s website.
