LETTER: A young boy being a good citizen
To Ozaukee Press:
Recently, I heard my doorbell ring. I went to the door and opened it and there was a young boy and a large dog on my doorstep.
The boy asked me if he could have a plastic bag as he and his sister left their home in a hurry and forgot to bring a bag along for the collection of any dog waste.
I gave him a bag and he politely thanked me and he went on his way.
I was very touched that he was so responsible at such a young age for what needed to be done to be a good neighbor.
His parents should be proud to know they are raising a good citizen.
