LETTER: Wave of visitors to Port shows need to end Blues Factory fiasco
To Ozaukee Press:
I want to thank Ozaukee Press for your eternal vigilance and strong words regarding the Blues Factory fiasco.
I was heartened to see last week’s editorial reiterating long standing issues and concerns with the project, as well as trying to get city officials to renegotiate the sale of this parcel.
One only has to observe during this pandemic the many, many citizens who have literally flocked to our lakefront to behold our open spaces and views of serenity and beauty.
I would also like to compliment the city and its businesses for the gorgeous flowers that adorn our streets and buildings, as well as the beer garden area.
Special thanks to Jon Crain, Port Washington superintendent of parks, forestry and landscape, for his eye for city beautification. Keep up the good work.
