LETTER: Trump promises to do what dictators do to their countries

To Ozaukee Press:

We are shocked when we hear about foreign dictators who make an end run around their constitution, sic the army on their own people, politicize the justice system, cripple the media and crack down on political opponents and others who disagree with them. We think, “I’m glad I live in America.”

But in his recent speeches, Donald Trump has promised to do all those things and more. And remember that, in July, his Supreme Court handed him a big, fat “get out of jail free card” with their ruling about presidential immunity.

Is that the America you want to live in?
