LETTER: On School Board, Klotz fights for what is best for students

To Ozaukee Press:
As a Port Washington-Saukville School District employee for the last 11 school years, I have been blessed with the opportunity to work with amazing colleagues and under amazing leadership. Our schools and teachers continue to develop and improve, largely due to our positive and progressive School Board members.
It is imperative that as a community we continue to elect members onto the school board who will continue to fight for positive and progressive change, as the world of education continues to adapt to many new initiatives and directives.             School Board members who will not only be active within our schools, but will also have an understanding of how a schools function effectively are essential for a school and its community to thrive.
This brings me to Yvonne Klotz, who is running for the at-large position on the School Board on April 5. Yvonne was a teacher for 30 years and dedication for to keeping our schools top notch is endless.
In her current School Board term, she has worked to make our schools better for kids. She is in constant contact with school staff and has pushed to keep our schools fiscally responsible. Her ability to be a good listener who is open to the opinions of others has been vital to making her a valuable School Board member. I know that her passion will help her to fight for the best for our school districtand our students. Please consider voting for Yvonne on April 5.
