LETTER: Response to Black Lives event in Port gives hope for harmony

To Ozaukee Press:

A big thank you to the Port Washington community. We couldn’t have asked for

a nicer evening to host a Black Lives Are Sacred Witness July 28.

We would like to thank the Port Washington Police Department for helping to ensure a safe event, particularly Lt. Jerry Nye for stopping by and introducing himself.

We also thank Grand Avenue Methodist Church for allowing us to stand on their property and sidewalks.

The public response to our signs was so positive and encouraging. There is hope that we can all get along and live in harmony.
