LETTER: Rahlf would be serious, civil as our representative in Madison
To Ozaukee Press:
Even before the news broke of State Rep. Robert Brooks’ racist and sexist comments toward several women at a Republican event, I was a supporter of his opponent in the Nov. 6 election, Chris Rahlf.
Rahlf has tirelessly crisscrossed Assembly District 60 to meet me and thousands of my neighbors in her campaign, and I have no doubt she will work even harder on our behalf in the Assembly, when the U.S. Navy veteran can devote herself full-time to her newest vocation.
As a construction manager, she has built her platform on a strong foundation of infrastructure improvements and middle-class growth – on concrete objectives, not divisive rhetoric.
If she’s elected, I am positive Rahlf will speak for her constituents and to her colleagues with the civility and seriousness the job requires. Vote for Rahlf, and make our representative respectable again.
