LETTER: Officials’ ineptitude suggests Grafton needs new leadership
To Ozaukee Press:
I attended the Feb. 17 Grafton Village Board meeting, where a private personnel evaluation was openly discussed. As all experienced managers know, personnel evaluations are meant to be private, and are done in closed sessions.
Unfortunately, this is another example of the current leadership’s management ineptitude, and is coupled with the tyrannical meeting rules that have been implemented. Later in the same meeting, we witnessed the village president threatening to remove a business representative when he tried to speak about an arbitrary decision to remove his employee and customer angle parking before alternatives were studied.
The leadership is not listening to the residents, the business or the school regarding the 10th Avenue reconstruction project. The cost information is wildly inaccurate, and design alternatives are being ignored.
Grafton needs new leadership.
