LETTER: Legislation facing automatic veto doesn’t help Wisconsin

To Ozaukee Press:

The election is over in Wisconsin. It’s now time for our state government

to get down to business and find solutions to some of issues facing the state.

Wisconsin voters are tired of partisan political bickering. Our elected officials, who are aware of the political reality of a divided government, should work together to find some answers.

Passing legislation that faces an automatic veto does not solve problems. Instead, compromise and give and take should be sought by the executive branch and Legislature together.

Wisconsin is a wonderful state, and its residents deserve a responsive government.
