LETTER: It’s come to this: handcuffed for asking about immigrants
To Ozaukee Press:
A United States senator, Alex Padilla, was forcibly handcuffed because he had questions for Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Neom about workplace raids and immigration enforcement.
Rights are being violated. We have a right to ask. We have a right to free speech. Now people are being handcuffed for asking questions? This administration has gone too far. The Constitution is being trampled by these thugs in government. People are angry and rightly so. What’s next? Mass arrests? This is deeply sinister, and the more this corrupt administration pushes us to dictatorship, the more people will rebel. Bring it on.
