LETTER: Incompetence and brutality on display at the White House

To Ozaukee Press:

The opening months of the second Trump term could be described as brutality mixed with incompetence. Elon Musk, the world’s richest man and an unelected bureaucrat, has fired thousands of people across a plethora of government agencies, saying, ironically, that many of them were unelected bureaucrats.

In the wake of a number of fatal airplane crashes, some were fired from the Federal Aviation Administration. In the wake of a measles outbreak in Texas and New Mexico, firings took place at the Centers for Disease Control and the National Institutes of Health. Nuclear safety employees were fired and then hastily rehired when Musk realized they were essential. Six thousand were fired from the IRS in the midst of tax season. Scientists, researchers, national parks employees were fired without cause.

Meanwhile, Trump proclaimed himself a king, even posting a photograph of himself wearing a crown. We American patriots who value our freedom, our government agencies and our way of life must not be silent. Call, text, email,or write your senators and representatives. Voice your objections to Musk and Trump. Protest. Boycott Tesla products. We must stop these arrogant, corrupt, greedy and dishonest billionaires from ruining our United States of America.
