LETTER: If Crawford wins high court election, expect big tax hike

To Ozaukee Press:

If  you need a good reason to vote in the April 1 spring election, visit the website will-law.org and calculate how much your property taxes will go up if liberal Dane County Judge Susan Crawford is elected to the Wisconsin Supreme Court. This calculator is based on the reasonable assumption that keeping the court liberal will eliminate Act 10 as promised. It shows that property taxes on a $300,000 home in the Port Washington-Saukville School District would increase $1,210 if Act 10 is eliminated.

Act 10 passed in 2011 and limited negotiations between public unions and local officials for public employee benefits and union rights. The savings have been passed on to the taxpayers ever since.

The unions and liberals have been trying to eliminate it so mandatory union dues could be funneled to Democratic candidates, but to no avail. They are promising liberal billionaires gerrymandered congressional maps in order to buy the election.

The election of Brad Schimel to the Wisconsin Supreme Court will stop them and save your property taxes.
