LETTER: His Christmas wish is for better care of Port Washington parks

To Ozaukee Press:

This year, instead of dreaming of a white Christmas just like the ones I used to know, I’m dreaming of the Port Washington parks I used to know:

Bright flowers planted with care, clean restrooms for all to share.

Garbage cans emptied that all can see, a skateboard park that should be safe (but now is littered with two years’ worth of logs and other debris).

A beer garden like years of the past with green grass that is mowed and trimmed so I won’t be aghast.

May the new year bring the changes we need; will someone please listen as I plead?

Then we would have parks like I used to know, all cleaned up and aglow.
