LETTER: Focused on public service, Sarah McCraw right for County Board

To Ozaukee Press:

I am writing to voice my support for Sarah McCraw, who is running for Ozaukee County District 14 supervisor.

I have known Sarah personally and professionally for over 25 years, and can vouch for her integrity and character. She has devoted much of the past decade to public service in her community, spearheading many dynamic improvements, including her work on behalf of the jail literacy program and finding solutions to veterans’ mental and physical health issues.

Through her position as programs coordinator and administrative assistant for the Grafton Chamber of Commerce, she has brought new vitality to the Grafton area. She is a good steward of tax dollars, making sure that local and federal funds are put to good use in Ozaukee County. I am especially impressed with her dedication to the success of small businesses in our community.

She supports the improvement of infrastructure as a means to boost tourism and help bring new revenue to our county. Sarah will regularly solicit input from residents to provide a fair and equitable representation.

She is always ready to come to the aid of someone in need. If Sarah hears that you are housebound or in distress, she will arrive at your doorstep, dinner in hand. Her kindness is legendary and extends to everything she does both personally and professionally.

We need dedicated public servants like Sarah to keep our county moving forward.
