LETTER: In engineering and politics, the truth can be found in numbers

To Ozaukee Press:

I spent my entire career in and around development engineering. You can say whatever you wish about engineering types, but one thing they all respect is—the numbers. If your design works, it works; if not, it doesn’t. You can’t lie, cheat or use crazy conspiracy theories to claim compliance when the numbers say otherwise.

We see the truth of this being played out in front of our eyes as the numbers of the election disallow the use of lies, accusations, conspiracy and other nonsense supported by the soon-to-be-past administration. It may have worked wonders in the world of entertainment and political marketing’ but this is simple math.
