LETTER: Election results distinguish U.S. among world’s countries

To Ozaukee Press:

Only in America, where felons cannot vote, would people vote for a known felon to be president of the country.

Only in America is it possible for the party of family values to elevate to the top of their ticket a known sexual abuser, cheat and liar.

Only in America is it possible to re-elect a twice impeached and treasonous former president who attempted to overthrow the government.

Only in America would the devout evangelical followers of Christ disgrace his sacred memory by supporting a man of no character.

Only in America would the sycophant Supreme Court elevate a president to be above the law.

Only in America would recent immigrants support a candidate for president who demeans and demonizes their own kind.

Yes, this is America in 2024.
