LETTER: Dunwiddie social raised $9,000

On behalf of the Dunwiddie Parent Connection and the students, faculty and staff of Port Washington’s Dunwiddie Elementary School, we wish to express our gratitude for the generosity and support provided for our recent dessert social fundraiser, making it a huge success. Thanks to the donations of goods, services, money and time, along with additional support from numerous organizations in neighboring communities, we were able to raise over $9,000 this year.

Please know that 100% of the proceeds directly benefit Dunwiddie students.  With these funds we are able to provide classroom field trips, school assemblies, educational materials and technology and recreational equipment that would otherwise not be available to our children.          Success like this is yet another reminder of why we choose to live and raise our children in this wonderful community.
