LETTER: Backing school choice, Trump restores hopes of Black parents

To Ozaukee Press:
    President Trump is making Black America great again. He has done more for
Black Americans in three years than the broken Washington establishment has done in 30 years.
    Trump favors school choice and increasing vouchers and scholarships for Black kids. President Obama ended the very successful D.C. school voucher program. He gave lip service to education reform, but wasted no time shutting down a school voucher program that was highly successful for Black children. Liberal pundit Juan Williams called it, “Obama’s outrageous sin against our kids.”
    President Obama sent his kids to prestigious private D.C. schools, but paid off the teachers union and ended the hopes of thousands of poor Black parents to send their children to better schools.
    Thankfully, President Trump restored the D.C. Opportunity Scholarship program and with it the hopes of Black parents for their children.
