LETTER: ‘Monstrosity’ is a preview of the look of Port’s data center

I recently had the opportunity to view the data center being built at Mount Pleasant near Kenosha. I hope that all of the parties in Port Washington who are championing the data center in Port Washington have taken the time to actually see this monstrosity. 

Drawings and photos do not have the same affect as seeing it in real time. It is butt ugly. And to realize that the Mount Pleasant Microsoft data center is actually smaller than the proposed Port data center will just blow your mind.

Anyone who claims with a straight face that some creative landscaping will soften the appearance of this boondoggle does not know what they are talking about. The area I saw in Mount Pleasant was near the intersection of Highway 195 and First Avenue. Please go down there a take a look and if I am wrong let me know.
