LETER: Investigation made clear who is to blame for court turmoil

To Ozaukee Press:
I am compelled to echo last week’s Ozaukee Press editorial, “How to put an end to turmoil in Ozaukee court system,” which called for the resignation of Ozaukee County Circuit Judge Joseph Voiland.
For many years our Ozaukee County courts were the picture of effectiveness.  Despite under-funding by the state, justice was delivered by judges who worked with a level of tact and steadiness the public should expect.
I have followed the press coverage of the Wisconsin Department of Justice and Fiedler investigations into alleged misconduct in the Ozaukee County court system with keen interest. It comes as no surprise that Fiedler quickly identified the issue plaguing our courts, just as nearly all of my personal, professional and political connections have for the last five years.
We need not look too hard to determine what the cause of the turmoil is.
