Legion ball returning to Grafton
Grafton’s Rose-Harms American Legion Post 355 will sponsor an American Legion baseball team for the first time this summer.
The Post had committed to sponsoring a senior (U19) team last season but baseball was canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
This year, the Post will field a junior team (U17) and a senior team.
Longtime Grafton High School baseball coach Brian Durst will be the head coach assisted by Jay Schwenn.
Post member Dan Harris, retired Milwaukee School of Engineering athletic director, will administer the program.
Rose-Harms will play in the AA Division of Zone 6.
