Lakeshore Symphonic Band concert is set

The Lakeshore Symphonic Band and a select group of Cedarburg High School choir members will perform a concert of music by historic and contemporary American band composers at 4 p.m.  Sunday, March 19, at the Cedarburg Performing Arts Center.

The group will perform a diverse line-up of American music from multiple genres, including marches, bebop and traditional hymns, according to Band Director Johanna Anderson.

The band’s 60-plus instrumentalists will be joined by vocalists from Cedarburg High School’s a cappella choir and Bella Voce ensemble.

General admission tickets are $8 and will be available at the door.  Children younger than 5 and students with ID are free.

Lakeshore Symphonic Band is a musical wind ensemble based in Southeast Wisconsin that was established in 1976.
